Age of Worms

Roma - Half Orc, Rogue 1, Barbarian 1 (male). Janna – Human, Cleric 2 (Wee Jas) (female). Entering the lantern room with the remaining red lantern, Cullen places the last lantern and they are lit. They feel a breeze coming from the blue alcove and Roma climbs up the chain to investigate. Just as they have expected the way is no longer blocked. However, the party pauses to rest before exploring any further. After resting, the group of explorers re-lights the lanterns and head down the corridor. At the end of the corridor they find a room with a 3-foot wide wooden beam over a pit of 4 inch diameter steel balls about 10 feet below them. The wooden beam extends across this pit to the other side where it ends at a door. The walls on either side of the beam are covered in strange geometric patterns. Tyrr

After experimenting with the lanterns for a few minutes, Roma and Cullen notice that there is another passage above the Blue lantern. Roma climbs the chain to investigate “just a little bit”. After being blown out of the tunnel a few times (catching the chain on the way down every time) he decides there isn’t a way through and joins the rest of the group. When no other choice presents itself, the brave Janna steps forward to take the plunge down the yellow lantern’s “elevator”. She even figures out how to send it back up once she is down there. Garrett - Gnome Druid 1 (male), from the Bronzewood Lodge with animal companion Eaus, a giant Badger. Cullen - Elven Monk 1 (male), from the Twilight Monastery as an escort for kalamanthis shipments. Roma - Half Orc Rogue 1 (male), an indentured Miner working his way to freedom. Janna - Human Cleric 1 (female), a priestess of Wee Jas from the boneyard. The party heads back to Diamond Lake to properly equip, leaving Cullen behind to watch the Cairn entrance. In town Tyrrich and Roma take care of some business and then visit with Allustan to ask him about the strange symbols found inside the Cairn. He is very interested in the glyphs and tells you that they are reminiscent of arcane symbols representing elemental air. He explains that he would need more time to study them. While at Allustan's house the group is introduc
